“I would definitely recommend Interface to others. Our instructor and mentors were always willing to help. Everybody at Interface would go out of their way to answer your questions without hesitation.” -Juan Aguero
Juan Aguero has worked in retail sales and customer service for four years, but he has always been intrigued by technology and web development. However, it wasn’t until he heard about Interface Web School from his sister that he began to explore the world of web development.
He started with tutorials by Codecademy – and then he was hooked. But as he started to learn to code, he realized he needed a classroom setting. He began by enrolling in the Introduction to Web Development workshop and that’s where everything began to click. For Juan, it wasn’t just the curriculum that helped him learn; it was the passion of his instructors and their commitment to helping him in his coding education.
Juan then spent his summer our 7-week, part-time, Foundations of Web Development course, where he was able to learn how to code in the evenings and still maintain his full-time job. His favorite part was “the smaller classroom setting. It made the experience more personal and welcoming. It was great to see people from different career paths come together to share the passion of coding.” His only regret was not starting the course sooner.
Excited about a future career in tech, Juan reached out to his instructor, who helped him explore opportunities with his web development education.
